Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. She then attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set the new world junior record. Felix was also the youngest participant in the 200 meter in the world championships in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 defeating the long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix consistently placed within the top third in each of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
